Anubhav’s father was a businessman but he did not want his son to be a part of the business & wanted him to become an IAS officer. That’s why, he sent Anubhav Dubey to Delhi to prepare for UPSC. After failing in CA exam, Anubhav Dubey started preparing for UPSC exam but he had realized that he was not made for a job but for business.
In 2016, Anubhav decided to stop preparation for UPSC exam and set up a business. He discussed the idea with his friend Anand Nayak but both didn’t have a lot of funds. The duo somehow managed to arrange ₹3 lakh & then they decided to start their tea business. Anubhav Dubey opened his first tea outlet strategically opposite the girl’s hostel.
Operating on an extremely limited budget, Anubhav and Anand realized they couldn’t afford luxuries such as marketing, interior design, & branding. Nevertheless, they showcased remarkable resourcefulness by utilizing borrowed items from friends and second-hand furniture to establish their first outlet in Indore.
Today, their humble beginnings have blossomed into a resounding success story. Anubhav Dubey and Anand Nayak have tirelessly expanded Chai Sutta Bar, opening over 400 outlets in 195 cities across India. Their entrepreneurial spirit has also transcended international boundaries, with Chai Sutta Bar reaching countries such as Dubai, the UK, Canada & Oman. With an impressive annual turnover of ₹150 crore, Chai Sutta Bar is the fastest growing chai-chain in India.
Chai Sutta Bar stands not only as a thriving business but also as a symbol of inspiration for aspiring entrepreneurs across the nation. It reminds us that with determination, innovation, and a touch of creativity, dreams can indeed become reality.
