Short cut to mindfulness.<\/p>\n Over 5,000 years ago Ayurvedic medicine has taught that aligning and connect yourself with nature is healing, nurturing, and uplifting. <\/p>\n It connects us to our natural state of bliss. Why? Because humans are nature too. We are not outside of nature. We were made to follow the same rhythms and patterns to live an optimal life.<\/p>\n Thankfully, our Western health providers are slowly, but finally catching on. It\u2019s more common now to hear, \u201c go outside and unplug\u201d. It\u2019s become less \u201c alternative\u201d to love nature and becoming more mainstream. Forest bathing is a common term. Walking barefoot to \u201cground \u201c and recharge is not seen as \u201ccrazy\u201d. <\/p>\n I am so happy us nature lovers are not seen as \u201c granolas\u201d or \u201chippies\u201d anymore. Maybe we still are?, but that\u2019s ok too!<\/p>\n There is still so much we can learn from being connected to nature. Beyond the fact that it deceases our anxiety and uplifts us. It is here to guide us in so many ways.<\/p>\n We also have so much work to do in protecting nature; and seeing the outdoors as us. <\/p>\n The more we lean into it the better the chances of saving it. Which in turn is saving ourselves.<\/p>\n ?These photos are of the flora I observed in the neighborhoods I walked through in Northern California. In the Bay Area it\u2019s accepted to just let your flowers and plants grow wild.
