\u201cWe are seizing the night.\u201d<\/p>\n Tens of thousands of women have marched through the streets in India after the rape and murder of a trainee doctor at a hospital.<\/p>\n The 31-year-old was attacked on Friday at the RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata last Friday \u2013 a hospital volunteer worker has been arrested in connection with the crime.<\/p>\n The Reclaim the Night march in West Bengal state was the culmination of nearly a week protests ignited by the killing. Smaller protests have also taken place in many other Indian cities.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is unprecedented.
