The visit to Poland is noteworthy as it occurs on the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and Poland and is the first such visit in 45 years. PM Modi’s visit to Ukraine is equally significant, being the first in over three decades.<\/p>\n

During his upcoming visit to Ukraine, PM Modi will meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, following recent high-level interactions, including meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow and President Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in Italy.<\/p>\n

The Ministry reiterated India\u2019s stance on the Ukraine conflict, advocating for diplomacy and dialogue as the means to achieve a lasting peace through negotiated settlements acceptable to all involved parties.<\/p>\n

Secretary Lal emphasized India\u2019s readiness to support efforts towards resolving the conflict and stated that it remains engaged with both Russia and Ukraine to support peace initiatives.
