Let me be clear that the purpose of this post is not to contribute to anti-Islamic stereotypes. Thinking that the ideologies and dogmas of the Abrahamic religions are overall bad is not the same as saying every person who practices them is bad, an assertion I would never make. The point here is to reiterate how incredibly dangerous it is for some people to think they have the backing of a divine authority who supersedes any law or moral convention that humans could possibly make.
